Built during the Mughal period, there are many mysteries surrounding this mosque which is the miraculous house of God, even though the entire area was destroyed by the Yamuna river. Locals claim that the mosque sways but does not break due to the current of the river and the intensity of the waves.

The money earned by selling the produce of the land is deposited in the treasury.
Another one and a half bigha of land was donated by the Muslim Talukdar in the name of the mosque, which was washed away by the Yamuna river some years ago.
It is said that at that time there used to be a pious pious person inside the mosque who everyone thought was crazy but actually he was a saint of God.
When the mosque was about to be swallowed up by the flowing river Yamuna, the man walked over the river and went far to the west of the mosque and was never found again. Since then the river Yamuna has moved far westwards from the mosque.
Later two roofs were constructed in the front part of the mosque for the prayers of the Muslims.
The earlier minaret, which was washed away by the river, is currently under construction about 100 feet high on the north-west side of the mosque.
At present, about 2,200 Muslims can pray together in the mosque. Members of Mridha origin have been in charge of the mosque since its construction.
