Describing the atrocities in the July Movement, Sarjis Alam said that those who are still singing about the movement are the pests left behind by Sheikh Hasina. The General Secretary of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation said that Sheikh Hasina and her cronies want to come back anew. A student-public movement is needed to resist them. Sarjis Alam warned of taking to the streets again.
On Saturday, at a function held at the Primary Teachers Training Institute auditorium in Chittagong City, the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation provided financial assistance to the families of 105 people from Chittagong who were killed in the student-public movement and mass uprising.
At that time, he said that those who are singing about the movement are the pests left behind by Sheikh Hasina. If these pests grow wings, they will pounce on the martyrs' families after 5 years from today. Therefore, we must be aware that the murderers do not get any chance to be rehabilitated. We are ready to risk our lives again if necessary.
