The anti-discrimination student movement has taken a terrible shape after getting the fire of politics. After the situation got out of control, the government showed leniency, but the demands of the aggrieved are not limited to quota reform. Yesterday was the first day after the official announcement of the fall of the government. Hundreds of students, police, political activists and ordinary people were killed across the country yesterday. Most of the dead are protestors. 13 policemen of Enayetpur police station of Sirajganj were killed in the violent attack. Apart from this, one more policeman was killed in Comilla. The leaders and activists of the ruling party are also among the dead. Thousands of people were injured. Independent Bangladesh has never seen such a day before.
