Once again, the internet is in a frenzy over a statement made by small screen actress and singer Zeenat Sanu Swagata. Various discussions and criticisms have been created around such negative comments. However, such comments of hers are never right for society. At the same time, she has openly admitted to doing things against Islam and is trying to spread them in the society. For this reason, a legal notice has been sent against her to apologize.
On Thursday, the organization's convener Muhammad Ziaul Haque sent the notice through Dhaka Bar lawyer Barrister Omar Farooq. The notice was announced in a notice signed by Dhaka University student and joint convener of Students for Sovereignty Muhammad Yakub Majumdar.
The notice has called on actress Swagata to withdraw the statement regarding live together and issue a statement to the media within three working days, apologizing. Otherwise, the notice says that necessary legal action will be taken against her.
Earlier, on December 26, Supreme Court lawyer Muhammad Mesbah Uddin Chowdhury sent a legal notice to Swagata on behalf of a person named Muhammad Ariful Khabir for his comments on Live Together. He was asked to retract his statement and publicly apologize within seven days of receiving the notice.
The actress said, "I would request the person whose feelings were hurt to follow their religious and cultural norms, they don't have to follow my rules. They will not understand what I have done in reality." However, Swagata sees the responsibility for the breakup of her first family because of Live Together.
