Certificates and prizes were distributed among the participants in the "Ali Zaker Mukti Juddera Granthpath" competition organized by Muktijudda Museum. On August 30, Friday at 11:30 a.m., the certificate and prize distribution was held at Batighar Adarsh Pathaghar of Tangail Sadar Upazila. Books based on Liberation War are 'Roznamcha of 71', 'I wanted to kill a hawk' and 'Jivan Amar Bone'.
Md. Kamruzzaman, the founder of Batighar Adarsh Pathagar, distributed certificates and prizes among 15 students of school, college and university level who participated in the book reading competition. Mansoor Helal, Habibur Rahman, Sumon Chowdhury, Shakeel Ahmed, Rakib Hasan, Joy Chandra Das etc. were present at the time.
In keeping with the slogan, "Let's read and enlighten ourselves", Batighar Adarsh Library was established in Chaurakarra village of Tangail Sadar Upazila in the year 2010. Since its inception, the library has been conducting various activities in the service of humanity in addition to educational activities including setting up saloons, bus stands and station mini-libraries to create literacy among the people of the village and build a knowledge-based society.
