Bangladesh High Performance (HP) unit lost 3 matches against 2 wins in their first 5 matches in the top end series. So HP team had no choice but to win against Perth Scotchers to survive in the semis. In the end, Bangladesh left the field with a smile on Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi's cameo. With this victory, Akbar Ali's team kept one foot in the semis.
