Bangladesh lost to India by 41 runs in the final of the Under-19 Women's Asia Cup in Kuala Lumpur. Batting first, India scored 117 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Chasing that run, Bangladesh's girls were all out for 76 runs.

Batting first, India's girls lost their first wicket for 23 runs. Farzana Yasmin dismissed Kamilini, who had made 5 runs in 9 balls. The rest of India's batters also could not take advantage. She was caught by Farzana Yasmin for 52 runs in 47 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Mithila scored the second highest 17 runs in 12 balls. Farzana Yasmin took four wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs for Bangladesh. They lost their first wicket in the second over. Mosammat Eva returned for a duck in 2 balls. Bangladesh scored 35 runs after losing one more wicket in the power play.

Opener Fahmida Choya returned to the crease as the third batter, scoring 18 runs off 24 balls. Only one of the following batters could reach double figures. Juraiya Ferdous scored 22 runs off 30 balls.
