The rally led by Mohammad Tamiz Uddin, the former convenor of Dhaka District Uttar Chhatra Dal, left the Savar Upazila square and circled the Dhaka-Aricha highway and ended with a short rally at Thana Bus Stand. During the rally, the activists started chanting various slogans demanding the trial of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her associates.
Leaders of Dhaka District, Savar Police Station, Ashulia Police Station, Savar Municipality and Savar Government University College students were present in the mourning rally.
Mohammad Tamiz Uddin said, "We want to build a beautiful Bangladesh without discrimination. If someone creates any kind of chaos, the Chhatra Dal leaders should stand against it." We are ready to pour fresh blood in any logical movement. We Dhaka District Chhatra Dal have played a strong role in all the movements and struggles of the past. Occupying extortionists have no place in Savar - Ashulia soil.
Chhatra League, an opportunistic terrorist organization, has no place in our organization. Everyone should be vigilant so that Awami terrorists cannot be associated with our organization.
