Panchagarh district Awami League president and former railway minister Nurul Islam Sujan has been booked against 19 people. 150 unidentified people have also been accused in that case.
Manu Mia, a resident of Darjipara area of Panchagarh Sadar Upazila filed this case at Panchagarh Sadar Police Station last Sunday, November 10.
The other accused in the case are: Naimuzzaman Bhuiyan, former MP of Awami League of Panchagarh-1 Constituency, Mazzaharul Haque Pradhan, former Member of Parliament of the same constituency, District Awami League General Secretary Anwar Sadat Samrat, District Awami League Organizing Secretary Ariful Islam Pallab, District Chhatra League President Abu Noman Hasan, General Secretary Sadman Sadiq Plaban Patwari, former councilor of Panchagarh Municipality Ashraful Islam, Hasnat Md. Hamidur Rahman, Panchagarh Municipal Awami League President Kazi Al Tariq, General Secretary Humayun Kabir Ujjal and 19 others named and 150 unknown persons have been accused.
The family believes that he was kept missing after the murder. In this regard, three months of the July-August revolution have passed, but the family has filed a case and sought the help of the administration to get the son back.
According to the statement of the case, Al Amin (21) is a resident of Darjipara area of Panchagarh Sadar Upazila. He is a rickshaw driver by profession. On the morning of August 5, he left home and took part in the anti-discrimination student movement at Panchagarh Chowrangi intersection. He was arrested in front of Chhatra League General Secretary Sadman Sadiq Patwari Plaban's house on his way home with two people at noon.
Later, he was attacked on the orders of Awami League leaders. Then he was dragged towards the house of Chhatra League leader Plaban. Raihanul Islam Rifat and Sujan Islam, who were with Al Amin, were rescued by locals and admitted to Panchgarh Modern Sadar Hospital.
At this time, if he did not return home at night, the family members started looking for him. Then on August 14, they also made a general diary at the police station. On this side, Al Amin's father found out about this incident through Rifat and Sujon and filed a case against the leaders and activists of Awami League and its affiliated organizations.
