Jamaat will not do politics of revenge like Awami League. Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh wants to work to build an Islamic welfare-oriented, corruption-free, hunger-free Bangladesh.
The leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Pabna district branch made such comments.
After 17 long years, they made this comment in an exchange meeting with journalists working in Pabna.
District Jamaat Secretary Hafez Maulana Iqbal Hussain, District Jamaat Amir Professor Abu Taleb Mandal, Naib Amir Maulana Zahurul Islam, Assistant Secretary Maulana Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Media Secretary Abdul Latif, Office Secretary SM Sohail, District Workers were present at the Pabna Press Club auditorium on Wednesday afternoon. Kalyan Federation President Rezaul Karim, Pabna Sadar Municipal Jamaat Amir Professor Rakib Uddin, Deputy Amir Zakaria Hossain, Secretary Zakir Hossain, Assistant Secretary Ikramul Haque. Sadar Upazila Jamaat Secretary Ibrahim Khalil Ainul and others.
In response to a question from journalists in the meeting, Amir Abu Taleb Mondal of the district Jamaat said that the Jamaat is fully prepared to participate in the next elections. They want the cooperation of journalists to build Islamic welfare-oriented, corruption-free, hunger-free Bangladesh.
