BNP standing committee member and former state minister Salahuddin Ahmed said that BNP is committed to building a sovereign and truly democratic Bangladesh with everyone.
He said these things while visiting the family of Palash, who was killed in the anti-discrimination student movement in Dhaka, at Bhunapur, Tangail, on Monday (August 26). Meanwhile, he expressed condolences on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman to the martyred family in the movement to restore democracy.
Salahuddin said, the non-communal Bangladesh of the dream of the martyrs will be built. That human rights will not be violated in Bangladesh. Bangladesh without discrimination, Bangladesh with human dignity, Bangladesh with social justice, constitutional rights and democratic rights will be built. We want to move forward.
Meanwhile, BNP's propaganda secretary and former Juba Dal president Sultan Salahuddin Tuku said that the politics of revenge will not return to Bangladesh.
Later, they visited the Ghatandi of Palasher village, who was killed in the anti-discrimination student movement, and joined the public meeting at Bhuyapar bus stand.
Dhaka divisional co-organizing secretary Obaidul Haque Nasir, district BNP president Hasanuzzamil Shahin, general secretary Farhad Iqbal and former member secretary Mahmudul Haque Sanus along with leaders and workers of other BNP organizations were present.
