A letter was found with money and a large amount of gold ornaments in the donation chest of the historic Pagla Mosque in Kishoreganj. There, a girl named Afroz Akhter Sejuti wrote a letter to get a Christian boy as her life partner.
On Saturday (August 17) at 8:30 am, a record 28 sacks of money were received from 9 donation boxes. Foreign currency, gold jewelry and various notes were also found. Now counting is going on. A team of around 350 people participated in the counting.
This time, during the census, a letter written by a Muslim woman expressing her desire to marry a Christian boy was found in the chest of the mosque. The letter reads, 'Assalamu Alaikum Huzur. My name is Afroz Akhter Sejuti, I love someone very much, all day his thoughts are in my head. I cry a lot when I remember him. I can't concentrate on my studies. He knows nothing about me, I know everything about him. O Christian I am Muslim, I pray to Allah a lot. I pray every day and ask Allah to make him a Muslim, I want him to become halal for me. Allah makes him lawful for me, I am weak towards him and can never forget him. I don't want to forget him. I am very afraid that he will not become someone else. You will pray for me and pray for me. Take my greetings.'

The donation boxes were opened today in the presence of Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner and Pagla Mosque Management Committee President Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Russell Sheikh.
Earlier, on April 20, a letter from a lover named Saiful Islam was found in Sindhu. Another such note was written, 'God, let me get a standard number so that I can get admission in a good college. All the bad thoughts go away from my head. God bless my parents. May I be admitted to Rafiqul Islami College.
Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner and Mosque Committee President Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad told Dhaka Post that you know the historic Pagla Mosque of Kishoreganj is one of the places of devout Muslims. People of all religions donate here and take vows. It is expected that all the past records will be broken and new records will be created. With their donation, a beautiful mosque complex will be built where 30,000 worshipers can pray in congregation.
Donation boxes are opened every three months. Now after 3 months and 27 days the donation box has been opened. A record 28 sacks of Rs. Besides, various notes are available.
