After the fall of the Awami government through Sheikh Hasina's resignation and fleeing the country, thousands of students entered Ganobhaban chanting false slogans. Every piece of furniture in the Ganabhaban like carpets, rugs, pillows and chairs is being shared. He is getting out with whatever he can.
Moments after the scene of occupying the public house in 'Sri Lankan style', they were seen entering the National Parliament building and cheering. Meanwhile, some people are cheering sitting on the chairs of the members of parliament and some are relaxing on the seats in front of the speaker's seat.
Such images can be seen in a video that spread on social media Facebook on Monday (August 5).
Earlier in the afternoon, the situation arose around the quota reform movement. The recently resigned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina submitted her resignation letter to Sahabuddin and left the country.
News agency AFP reported in a report that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left the country in the ongoing situation. Sheikh Hasina took off in a military helicopter from Bangabhaban at 2.30 pm. At that time, his younger sister Sheikh Rehana was with him.
Incidentally, as a result of the 'Long March to Dhaka' program called by the anti-discrimination student movement, the downfall of the Awami government rang the bell. Later, Sheikh Hasina submitted her resignation letter to the President and left the country.
Then at 3:50 PM, Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman addressed the nation. At the time, he said, every murder will be judged, every injustice will be judged. All your (people) demands will be fulfilled. He also called upon the agitating students to return home.
