Quota reform and anti-discrimination student movement has called for a protest march across the country tomorrow Saturday and an indefinite 'total non-cooperation' movement has been called to protest the killing of the peaceful program called by the anti-discrimination student movement.
Anti-discrimination student movement coordinator Asif Mahmud and co-coordinator Rifat Rashid announced this in a Facebook post and video message at 8 pm on Friday (August 2). They called upon the people of the whole country to organize in alleys and neighborhoods to make the program a success.
In a message sent by Abdul Quader, the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement on Thursday (August 1), a new program called 'Prayer and Student Mass Mass' was called for across the country on Friday. The message said, “You know we are not agitating for any of our personal interests. Our movement is for the liberation of you and your child. What was our crime? Is it our crime to ask for constitutional rights? Hundreds of brothers were killed for what crime?
But we will not stop our movement without answering and judging it. In memory of all those who were martyred, injured, crippled and arrested for participating in the movement in this difficult time of the nation, I am announcing a nationwide 'Prayer and Student Mass Mass' program on Friday."
It should be noted that since July 16, incidents of violence have been taking place in different parts of the country centered around the quota reform movement. The government has confirmed the death of 150 people in these incidents so far. Although this number is claimed to be more than two hundred in various media.
