The International Crimes Tribunal has given two more months to submit the investigation report against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the case filed in the July-August genocide incident.
The three-member tribunal headed by International Crimes Tribunal Chairman Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumder passed the order on Tuesday. The other two members are Judge Md. Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury and Justice Md. Shafiul Alam Mahmud. The tribunal has also ordered law enforcement agencies to report on the progress of issuing an Interpol red notice to Sheikh Hasina within the next two weeks.
Meanwhile, the International Crimes Tribunal has also ordered the submission of progress reports against 16 people, including a former Awami League minister, in the July-August genocide case within two months.
