After three and a quarter hours of siege, the 'Hindu Ganajagran Manch' left Shahbagh. Traffic has started in Shahbagh area. However, there is severe traffic congestion on the surrounding roads. On Friday evening, September 13, they announced the end of the day's program and left the road.
On Friday afternoon, Hindu Jagran Manch blocked Shahbagh intersection with 8-point demand including closure and security of religious places of worship, houses and houses. As a result, traffic stopped on the road. Then the police were deployed there to control the situation.
Incidentally, last month too, the organization blocked Shahbagh and held a protest rally to demand a speedy trial in the cases of attacks on minorities. Their 8-point demands include legislation to protect minorities, formation of ministries, making Durga Puja holiday five days.
