It is known that 44 schools in India have received bomb threats. When this created panic in the schools, students were sent home. Delhi Police has started an investigation into the incident. Indian media NDTV reported this information in a report on Monday.
It is said that the 44 schools in Delhi that have received bomb threats include DPS RK Puram and GD Goenka School in West Bihar.
NDTV says that the threat was received through an e-mail. The e-mail claims that, 'Multiple bombs have been placed inside the building. The bombs are small and very well hidden. It will not cause much damage to the building, but many people will be injured if the bomb explodes.
The email sender has demanded 30 thousand US dollars to defuse the bomb. Delhi Police is investigating the IP address from which the email was sent and is also looking for the email sender. Dog squad, bomb detection team are working on this. However, no one has been arrested in this incident.
