Unidentified gunmen opened fire at a shrine in Bihar, India. The shooting incident took place in Bihar's Arah on Sunday morning. Four to five people were shot. News media NDTV reported about eyewitnesses that in the morning unknown gunmen came to this mandap of Durga Puja on two motorcycles. At that time they shot at the pavilion and fled. Police recovered two cartridges from there. Four of those injured in the shooting have been identified. They are Armaan Ansari (19), Sunil Kumar Yadav (26), Roshan Kumar (25) and Sipahi Kumar. Armaan was shot in the back, Sunil in the left arm, Roshan in the right below the knee and Sepahi Kumar in the hip. They were rushed to a private hospital for treatment. Doctor Bikas Singh, who led the treatment of the injured, said that the two bullet victims have been operated on and their condition is stable. NDTV reported that it is not yet known why the gunmen opened fire at the puja mandap. Police are conducting an operation to arrest those involved in this incident. An eyewitness, Yadav, said the gunmen came on a motorcycle and started firing before anyone could say anything. This incident has created a lot of panic among the local people. Especially during such a big festival like Durga Puja, everyone is concerned about such an attack.
