Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused the associates of opposition leader Rahul Gandhi of hooliganism. "The Congress leader who said 'Mohabbat Ki Dukan', he and his accomplices attacked an Indian journalist on American soil," he said while campaigning for the polls in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
A few members of the 'media team' accompanying Rahul in America allegedly harassed an all-India media representative. Congress foreign wing chairman Shyam Pitroda strongly criticized the incident after the allegations were made on Friday, saying Congress never supports such behaviour. Modi spoke about it while campaigning in Jammu.
At this time, Modi also targeted the National Conference (NC)-Congress alliance for separatist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Taking a jab at NC chief Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar, he said, "Representatives of that dynasty are misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir."
