New notes of 1000, 50 and 20 taka have already been introduced in the market. This time, the new 100 taka note is coming to the market.
The new note will be issued initially from Bangladesh Bank’s Motijheel office on the first day. Later, the note will be supplied to the market from other offices of Bangladesh Bank.
Bangladesh Bank said the newly designed banknotes will feature images of the country's historical and archaeological architecture, which will enhance its beauty and collectability.
