The stars were in favor of the students since the beginning of the anti-discrimination student movement. But there were some exceptions. They have been seen in a silent role all the time in the face of the government and the students.
One of whom is actor Chanchal Chowdhury. The star has been seen keeping silent since the beginning of the students' movement. However, recently the actor opened up about his silence in a Facebook status.
While Chanchal claimed, due to his mother's illness, he could not be very active on social media in recent times.
In that status, the actor wrote, 'I am Chanchal Chowdhury. I am not responsible if anything is written using my name in any foreign/domestic newspaper or social media, in recent circumstances. Because till now I have not given any statement on any issue in any newspaper or social media.
Then Chanchal mentioned, 'I am an ordinary artist. I have no involvement with anything other than professional reasons. I haven't been very active on social media lately due to my mother's terminal illness. Let there be peace in the country, let all be well.'

Meanwhile, after giving that status, this star has come under the wrath of fans. Many have brought up the topic of his relationship with the Awami League government. He also severely criticized him for not standing by the students.
But some have gone beyond the limits of sarcasm. He abused the actor in unspeakable language.
Chanchal Chowdhury has noticed the matter. In an interview given to a media in this regard, the actor said, 'The comments are eye-opening. I promise, I won't delete a single comment. Assuming, these are one of the recognitions of my artistic life from the people of the country. For whom I have worked tirelessly for the last three decades. I have guided myself through honesty.
Chanchal also said, 'If I wanted, I could have become an MP. I could be a minister. But I want to die as a favorite artist of the people of the country. I am now getting that recognition through abuse. I will not erase the insults, I left them as a reward.
