A school teacher was killed in a road accident in Tangail's Bhuyapur. In this incident, the driver of an autorickshaw operated by SynNG was arrested.
On November 7 (Thursday) a school teacher named Abdul Alim (48) was killed when the CNG driver fell asleep at a place called Kagmari Para on the Bhuyapur-Tangail regional highway of the upazila at 7:30 in the morning. He was working as the director and teacher of Prabhati Kindergarten in the municipal area of the upazila. He is the son of Abdul Qaddus of Ghatandi village in the municipal area.
It is known that on Thursday morning, while the family was coming from Tangail to their work place, the auto rickshaw running on reserve CNG lost control and overturned on the side of the road when the driver fell asleep near Kagmari Para Kabir Bricks. At this time, CNGT is in decline. The victim suffered severe head injuries. It started bleeding and was seriously injured. His wife and son who were in the CNG were injured. Locals rescued Ahder and sent him to Tangail Medical College Hospital where the doctor on duty declared the school teacher dead. He is believed to have died of excessive bleeding. Later the victim's wife and son were given first aid.
In this incident, the officer in charge of Bhuyapur police station S. M. Rezaul Karim said that he died on the way to the hospital after being rescued from the accident site. The driver of the CNG-powered auto-rickshaw was arrested from the spot.
