On the occasion of Durga Puja, the biggest festival of Bengali Sanatan religious believers, the autumn festival ends on Sunday. After Maha Navami Puja, Maha Dashami Puja was held on Saturday. At the same time, a significant number of temples have desecrated the darpan of Devi Durga. However, according to the pure Siddhant Panjika, Mahadashmi Kalparambh Puja will be completed and darpan Niranjan will be completed in Sharsha Upazila and Benapole Municipal Ashram today at 9:39 AM. In the meantime, Goddess Durga will leave the mortal world and return to Kailash. And that's why there is a shadow of sadness among the fans.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the fourth day of the festival, the Mahanavami Puja of Devi Durga was completed along with Mangalik religious rituals and the Maha Dasami Puja was completed. Navami Vihit Puja is performed from 8 am on this day. Ahuti is offered to Goddess Durga through Yajna with 108 bel leaves, mango wood, ghee.
According to Sanatan Dharma, Goddess Durga manifested good energy in the world by destroying the evil energy on the Punya Tithi of Navami. Navami Tithi begins with sandhi puja. Mahanavami is completed by offering 108 lotus flowers to the goddess, performing homam yajna and offering anjali to destroy the power of demons. At this time, the devotees rejoiced in Matri Bandana. Durgatinashini offered them flowers at the lotus feet of Goddess Durga. Sandhi Puja is organized on Friday according to Tithi. The last 24 minutes of Ashtami and the first 24 minutes of Navami take a total of 48 minutes. Goddess Chamunda is mainly worshiped at this time. It was during this time that Mahishasura was killed by Goddess Durga, and Ravana was killed by Rama. This day is considered as the last day of Durga Puja. Because the next day is only a phase of abandonment. The night of the festival ends on the night of Navami. And on the tenth night, the farewell bell rang in the pavilion.
Namcharya Sri Sri Brahma Haridas Tagore Patbari Asharya Sarva Janani Puja Celebration Committee President Sri Sukumar Debnath said that the last ritual of Durga Puja is 'Devi Baran' after the completion of Dasami Puja. It begins with married women playing sindoor. After touching vermilion to Mother Durga with vermilion, bean and sweets, married women spread vermilion on each other. They applied this vermilion and bade farewell to Mother Durga. And hope that the whole year should be spent in such happiness and joy.
Indrajit Kumar, a senior teacher in Benapole, said, "Married women apply vermilion on their foreheads on the tenth day to wish for the well-being of their husbands and touch the feet of the goddess with a part of that vermilion." Then everyone rubs vermilion on each other. Devotees celebrate Vijaya Dashami with vermilion in the belief that Durga will bring the conch and vermilion again next year and holding the conch vermilion will bring good luck to the husband. The name of this festival is Sindur Khel.
