The death of Tanjim Charwar Nirjan reminds us that the country is still in anarchy, the result of the misrule of the past fifteen years is our current situation. Major General (retd) Fazle Elahi Akbar commented that we all have to forget all the differences of religion and work together against those who are making the country exist in the form of robbers or terrorists.
On Wednesday (September 25) afternoon, Lieutenant Tanzim Charwar, an army officer who was killed in an anti-robbery operation in East Maijpara village of Dulahazara union of Chakaria upazila of Cox's Bazar, came to the house of Kartia union of Sadar upazila of Tangail to express his condolences to his family.
He also said that our interim government, the second revolution, which is called the second independence, must be maintained so that a fascist government is never established again. If we can make the army the size of politics and if we can make the election commissioner independent, then there will be no more fascist government in our country.
Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Siddique said, we have 7 retired army officers. We have come to express our condolences to the family of Nirjan on the instructions of national hero Tariq Rahman. We want those involved in the killing of private individuals to be brought to justice.
Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Shamsuzzaman, Rashed, Saeed Khan and Major Siddique, Mannan, Tangail District BNP President Hasanuzzamil Shahin, General Secretary Ed. Farhad Iqbal and other members of BNP were present.
This delegation of BNP paid a courtesy visit to the parents and sister of army officer Tanzim Charwar at his private house and expressed condolences and paid tributes and prayers on behalf of the BNP Chairperson to the graveyard.
